our coronavirus statement

As the Coronavirus continues to make its presence felt in our region, we wanted to update you on the precautions we are taking at LHC:

  1. Our service is still ON as planned for this Sunday at 10AM. (For the latest updates, please follow our Website, Emails, the church answering machine, or our Facebook Page)

  • Worship team will still meet at 7pm on Thursday

  • As of this moment the governor has not put any additional restrictions on going out in public or on houses of worship.

 2. Preparations and precautions.

  • We will be doing a thorough cleaning and disinfecting of the church prior to Sunday’s services. We will have the following items on hand at the church: Hand sanitizer stations and tissues.

  • We are asking all of our LHC church family to take the following precautions:

    • Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water or hand sanitizer as it has been determined to be the most effective deterrent to the spread of the virus.

    • If you have to cough or sneeze please use a tissue or your sleeve to cover your cough/sneeze.

    • Keep a safe social distance when greeting one another of about six feet from each other.

    • In lieu of hand shaking we encourage people to wave or head nod

3. If you have any of these symptoms please stay home and contact your medical provider.

  • Fever

  • Cough

  • Difficulty breathing

Let's all be kind and considerate to one another during this time whether people choose to attend or not. The health of our LHC church family is important to us.

And finally,

  • We trust the Lord and know he is our healer and our protector, while we exercise common sense. This is no different than preparing for a hurricane or a blizzard, we are just taking the steps to be ready.

  • We endeavor to communicate faith and not fear.

  • Let’s continue to trust God and pray for those in our area who have  been infected with Coronavirus.  Let’s also ask the Lord to stop the  spread of Coronavirus and the disruption to daily life in our region.

We will keep you updated on the situation as new information becomes available. If there is a change to our plans and service time we will inform you via email, facebook and the church answering machine.

May God grant grace and peace on you and yours today.

In Christ’s love,

Pastor Dan Valeri
