Springfield Rescue Mission
We support the work of the Springfield Rescue Mission through donations and doing special collection drives for bottled water and toiletries (Hope Totes). Convoy of Hope
On August 19, 2017, Living Hope Church joined more than 80 churches in western Massachusetts to participate in the Convoy of Hope in downtown Springfield, MA. During this outreach we helped assemble bags of groceries, distribute shoes, provide free medical services, free haircuts, and pray for the needs of those in the community. More than 5,000 guests were greeted at the site by the end of the day. This is the third Convoy that LHC has participated in since 2013. No further events are planned at this time.
Christina's House
Christina’s House is a Christ centered ministry developed to meet the needs of women and their children in the Spjringfield, MA area who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. A second home has just been purchased. Our mission is to encourage, embrace, and educate these women. We know that we cannot reach all of those women and their children but by helping just one family, we may change a generation. To learn more, visit their website: http://christinashouse.org/
Clearway Clinic
Providing clarity and control to women considering abortion, Clearway Clinic is located Worcester, MA and Springfield, MA. Clearway provides in-house pregnancy tests, STD tests, ultrasounds, and medical consultations. To learn more, visit their website: https://clearwayclinic.com
Samaritan's Purse Christmas Child
From 2018 to 2021, Living Hope Church sent shoe boxes filled with items that children will enjoy for Christmas via the Samaritan's Purse Christmas Child program. In 2020, a total of 32 boxes were sent from members of our church. Most of them went to Malawi, Africa.
Nehemiah House
A recent addition to the local ministries we support is Nehemiah House. Located in Granby CT and Hartford, Nehemiah House provides temporary housing for young mothers. In late summer 2019, Living Hope Church participated in a 5K run/walk to benefit Nehemiach House. Thanks to the dozen or so participants who turned out.
